The tower is a late 14th century pele tower located a short distance to the west of the church. It measures 35 by 27 feet, with walls 6 feet thick.The ground floor is barrel vaulted and there is no internal access to the first floor. It was abandoned in the 17th century until the tower was restored in the early 19th century and a house was attached to its east side. It is now a private residence.
