BOSSINEY CASTLE


BOSSINEY CASTLE

The earthworks and motte remain of an 11th century wooden castle surrounded by a ditch. It was later rebuilt in stone, although none is now visible. It may be the predecessor of nearby Tintagel Castle which was built in the 13th century.
