There is a rectangular earthwork enclosure, 60 feet in diameter with a small motte in one corner. On the east side is a deep ravine, and the other three sides are enclosed by a shallow ditch with an outer bank. There is no recorded history but its location suggests it was constructed by a medieval Welsh lord.
