FLITWICK CASTLE


FLITWICK CASTLE

A wooden 11th Century motte and bailey castle, surrounded by a moat. The motte is now about 20 feet high, but most of the moat has been filled in. The remains are on a public open space known as Temple Field or Mount Hill.

Directions
It is in a small public park in the south west of Flitwick, off Church Road.
