GRESHAM CASTLE

A fortified manor house, licenced in 1319. It was a square buiding with a tower in each corner and surrounded by a moat but it was abandoned at the end of the 15th century. Parts of three of the towers and some of the outer wall are still above ground but the site is very overgrown.

Private.
