STAPLEFORD CASTLE

Medieval ringwork and bailey castle, surviving as earthworks by the River Till. The bank of the ringwork is 10 feet high internally and rises 20 feet above the bottom of the surrounding ditch. It is between 200 and 300 feet in diameter.
